Grain is selected for the Singer Songwriter finals in the competition "De Grote Prijs van Zuid Holland"!

..was very much fun! Poppodium Haarhorst is a great place to be, you should check it out some time. Songs of Aran also did a good job warming up the audience for us, I liked his beautiful voice. Check Grain out on You Tube:

Barend Courbois, Guzz Genser & Noud Smeets in the band!
A killer combination. Our first show as the band is on November 7th, so don't miss that.
Barend has played bass with loads of musicians, he also did the bassparts for Shut Your Mouth Kevin, he is Holland's best bassplayer.
I don't think I have to introduce Guzz either, he (used to) play with Herman Brood (Wild Romance), John Hayes, Jellow Pearl & others. Scary good drummer.
Noud (Edge of Serenity, Exist, New Breed & more metal..;) can play very fast & weird on his guitars, but he can also play Jimi Hendrix on his new Grainguitar (stratocaster jay!).
I think we are going to have a lot of fun together, it should be raining gigs soon. Ill keep you posted about this!

Grain was mystery guest yesterday in Live Alive, local radiostation. Check livealive.nl. After a short interview we played Ghosts & gave away one Shut Your Mouth Kevin album. It was a really nice surprise!
